For those looking to escape the monotony of day to day life and relax in a tropical, secluded paradise, The Dusun is a fantastic choice for a holiday. Tucked away in the foothills of the Titiwangsa Main Range, the cluster of villas is an hour south of Kuala Lumpur but feels miles and miles from anywhere.
You’ll feel totally at peace, surrounded by the nature in the nearby Berembun Forest Reserve, where you’ll regularly spot monkeys, deer and insects of all shapes and sizes. The five villa complex comes complete with not one but two infinity pools that are shared between the houses, though the maximum amount of visitors at one time is eighteen, so you’ll never have to worry about the pools being overcrowded. For a further injection of culture, jungle treks to a nearby waterfall are available, as well as a bird discovery walk (where some 300 species of bird have been spotted) and visits to a local wet market.
