Hotel Uvala is a peaceful, smart retreat perched on the edge of Lapad Bay, nestled in amongst the lush green hillside. Situated on the edge of town, it feels like a secluded paradise and guests will feel at ease from the moment they glimpse the large white-washed building. However, it’s only a fifteen minute bus ride to Dubrovnik’s beautiful old town, so there’s plenty to explore in the nearby area for those who prefer to be out and about during the day.
With only 51 rooms, Hotel Uvala is a relatively small resort, which only adds to the feeling of exclusivity. The outdoor infinity pool is situated high up, giving guests a stunning panoramic view of the neighbouring hillside. That’s not all, as there’s also a heated indoor pool to be found inside the glass solarium, which also houses comfy sun loungers and an elevated whirlpool hot tub.
Breakfast and dinner is served in the immaculate Mantala buffet restaurant, which has floor to ceiling windows and boasts impressive views of the hotel’s stunning location. Who knew you could be so close to the town but be surrounded by nothing but forests and flowing azure water?
