Designed in the style of a traditional Balinese village, the Amandari was brought to life by local artisans who hand-carved the gorgeous stone walls around the entrance pavilion, and it just gets more and more impressive from there.
Each of the private suites and villas feature private walled gardens, sunken outdoor baths and panoramic views of the resort’s stunning surroundings. In the central area of the resort you’ll find the lagoon shaped infinity pool, which is bordered by exotic palm trees and acres of lush vegetation.
There’s plenty to see and do in the local area too. The terraced rice fields nearby are perfect for taking long hikes or bike rides, and you can even stop in the nearby area of Ceking to discover the area during an exciting elephant ride. Though for those who prefer to keep their feet firmly on the ground, you can visit the Pura Agung Gunung Raung to soak up some local history.
